This course is designed by MindtoPen for Spanish speaking students whose level of English is B1 or higher. The course is offered through UNAM-Tucson. This course is ideal for any writer who wants to review such rules and practice directly on their own writing. Students will complete activities (oral and written) based on the topics presented and will engage in peer review activities related to their own writing. Content: Sentence Types (simple, compound, complex, including adjective, adverb, and noun clauses). Punctuation Rules Duration: 15 hours Delivery: The course meets virtually on Zoom twice a week, each class lasting two hours (12 hours total). The first hour is devoted to explanation. Participants are required to actively participate during the lecture (read, ask or answer questions). The second part of class is devoted to community building and group work. Participants will collaborate on activities. During this part, the instructor will act as facilitator. Online component: Participants are required to complete an online component (watch videos, read articles, and write responses), which is due on the last day of class. Modality: The course is delivered via Zoom and uses Google Docs.
